First-year undergraduates

This course is for the newest members of the MIT community, providing an opportunity to design and build software for robots.

6.a01: Mens et Manus is a freshman seminar course with the objective of giving the newest members of the MIT community an opportunity to design, build, and control interesting and fun devices and systems. 6.a01 is comprised of a number of half-semester subcourses that students are allowed to pick from including two featuring the RACECAR.

The first half-semester RACECAR project introduces students to autonomous driving and control. The second half-semester project introduces students to modern machine learning techniques for vision-based autonomy.
