RACECAR Hackathon

MIT's Independent Activities Period (IAP) features a competition to build the software for the fastest autonomous mini race car.

Winter Independent Activities Period (IAP) course where students design algorithms to compete in an autonomous race with the RACECAR platform. Students learn the fundamentals of the Robot Operating System (ROS), perception, guidance, navigation, and control. Originally offered in the Winter 2015, this was the first course ever offered with the RACECAR platform.
